“Personal growth and continuous improvement and personal development;

This is not the corporate world, there are no ceilings on realized potentials and spiritual asset worth.

Your Light and Love when living your fullest, truest self are boundless!

No minister or priest or pastor will make account of your worldly possessions when you go.

No, you will be remembered for your acts of service to others, your loving kindness, your compassion, your strength, your vulnerability, your creativity, your empathy, your courage, your humanity…your character!”

At times when we are almost too overwhelmed to draw upon the tools in our well-being toolbox. Many of us find we are having to schedule¬†AND reschedule some much needed self-care time. Whereas, most of us wouldn’t even dream¬†of¬†scheduling to take a shower, brushing our teeth or having a meal. Continue reading

“I am Human;¬†I make mistakes.

And, l learn and I grow.

I need a friend, and an advocate.

I need a shoulder, and a smile.

I laugh loud and cry hard.

I seek the Light in the dark.

I give Love, and bring Joy.

I am Human, Human is Me.”

Daring Personal Reports

True Growth Stories

Sunbeams on Tree Stumps (field)We all enter negative mindsets, (guilt, shame,¬†defeatism…) from time to time. ¬†I know I do. It’s common, human and in very small doses¬†serves a purpose- introspection, higher gratitude, clarification. ¬†Like yin and yang, black and white, up and down, positive mindsets would not exist without their relative opposing negative counterparts.

“…Difficult and easy give rise to the same concept;¬†Long and short are derived by comparison;¬†High differs from low only by position;¬†Sound and echo blend into one harmony;¬†Front and back follow one another sequentially.” ¬†— Lao Zi

The real trouble begins when we become trapped in negative mindsets, thus stunting our growth and blocking our ways forward and upward. With that in mind, the other night a thought came to me:  Active-Proactive, Release. Continue reading

Communication Quandary

Communication.
Video Wall with Human Silouhettes
It is such a broad and weighty term. ¬†It’s a subject that commonly comes up in our¬†workplace environment surveys and is frequently noted as a key challenge in our relationships, whether it’s work, family, or friends related. ¬†Perhaps, when we use¬†the word “communication”, what we are really referring to is “effective communication”. ¬† Continue reading
