Blessings Through Learning And Growing
Wow! Last week, I finished editing the final draft of Kemila Zsange’s second novel and third book, Many Blessings Will Come — it’s my very biased summer reading recommendation. Lol! 🙂 I have grown so much as during this process. Becoming more confident in my talent and skill; giving myself permission to learn without judgement; enjoying the highs and lows of expanding and, as a result, growing as a writer-editor. How does the saying go? “Write without fear, edit without mercy.”
I am so grateful to Kemila for her ease and steadfast belief in me; working with her really did foster a safe space for me to become more expansive, more professional and refined in my processes. Thank you, Kemila!!
Author, Hypnotherapist, Time Traveller
For those who are not yet familiar with Kemila and what she does, Kemila Zsange is a gifted Registered Clinical Counselling-Hypnotherapist and Transformation Specialist based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. (Although, she has clients from all over the world.)
One of Kemila’s specialties is past life regression (she wrote the manual on it. Literally! Past Life Regression, A Manual for Hypnotherapists to Conduct Effective Past Life Regression Sessions). Zsange offers life-between-lives regression, probable reality progression, future life progression, and spirit release therapies. She is the type of direct, down-to-earth personality who laughs easily and delights in travelling the 3D world as much as she enjoys travelling in the 4D and 5D with her clients.
Many Blessings Will Come, A Novel
I remember struggling a bit with which editorial approach to take with the raw manuscript of Many Blessings Will Come. It had originally been developed primarily on the author’s session transcripts. So, some descriptive pieces were not always present and the question became, should I edit it as something more clinical and observational? Or more narrative and creative? And if I chose the more creative approach, how then do I best honour the individual and intensely personal experiences and expressions of Zsange’s clients?
The storyteller in me won out in supporting the author with bringing her writing to life and in weaving a beautiful anthology of case stories mined from her over 10 years practicing hypno- and regression therapy. The book hosts twenty-one, true account stories showcasing the multi-dimensionality of the soul through past lives and probable or parallel realities and the healing power of hypnosis.
Many Blessings Will Come is a compelling and hopeful collection of drama and trauma, love and friendships, the mystical and surreal that has intentionally been divided into 3-parts: Recovering Inner Commitments, Discovering Inner Gifts, and Uncovering Inner Wisdom, which you can read in any order that you like.

While I only occasionally choose to edit novels, Many Blessings Will Come is exactly the kind of content I like to work with. It’s creative, yet non-fiction (although, I have a great love of fictional writing), and it’s just like my bio says: empowering, inspirational, motivational, expansive and spiritual. Each story features a character (a real person) who is so human and relatable in their insecurities, blocks and fears, in their curiosity and joy, and their subsequent healing and awakening. As cheesy as it may sound, editing Many Blessings.. has truly been a blessing for me and I hope you will enjoy reading it as much I enjoyed co-creating it 🙂
